Brownewell Photography
A husband and wife owned business based in Elkhart, IN. Founded in 2006, we focus primarily on wedding and table-top product photography. Our wedding work tends service Elkhart, South Bend, Mishawaka, Goshen, Niles and the surrounding area but we have been know to travel throughout the Midwest. Our product photography clients come from all regions of the US. We shoot journalistic weddings. We prefer to shoot moments as they happen so we capture real emotion rather than a posed recreation. We aim to capture all the little details without being a constant distraction. Our goal is to keep your wedding day feeling like a wedding day instead of a photo shoot. Our product work was initially based in 360° product photography but has since branched out to also include still photography. The 360° product photography allows internet users to be able to virtually look all around a product. This is done by taking many still photos and compiling them into one file. Setting a studio up for this type of work naturally lead back to simple still product work. |
Pat Brownewell Pat started working in photography from a young age. Pat joined his father, a commercial photography instructor for over 25 years, in the darkroom when he was three. By the time he was a sophomore in high school, he was well versed in the workings of cameras and darkrooms and started shooting sports for the school publications. By the end of the year, he had built a small business around his photography mainly focusing on his friends' senior portraits and also landed his first gig as a wedding photographer. Roughly ten years later, now with a B.A. In Business Administration, a wife, and two children, Pat manages the business from home. During the day, you will find him balancing children, computer related work (editing, creating albums, compiling, etc), handling office duties, and doing on location work. At night, you will find him in the basement where he built a full table-top studio. Alisha Brownewell Career-woman by day, wedding photographer by weekend, Alisha started shooting in 2005 and has worked more than 50 weddings with Pat. Alisha covers the bride and bridesmaids' preparation while Pat works with the groom and groomsmen or sets lights. She also helps during formals in an artistic director capacity. |
